How far in advance should we book our DJ?

We recommend booking as early as possible—especially for peak wedding dates. Most clients secure their date 6–12 months in advance.

Do you provide ceremony audio?

All of our packages are fully customized, so we don’t offer “cookie-cutter” options. This allows us to tailor every part of your event—including ceremony audio, microphones, and setup—exactly to your needs and vision.

Can we choose our own music?

Absolutely. You’ll have full control over your playlist, including must-play and do-not-play songs, all managed through your client portal that will be setup for you upon booking us.

Do you take song requests from guests?

Yes, guest requests are welcome unless you’ve specified otherwise. We always balance requests with your preferences and the overall flow of the event.

What happens if something goes wrong with equipment?

Minor technical issues can happen from time to time. To make sure they get fixed ASAP, We come fully prepared with backup equipment and contingency plans to ensure your event runs smoothly without interruption.

Do you travel outside of Calgary?

Yes. We regularly provide services in Canmore, Banff, and throughout Alberta & British Columbia.

Do you act as the MC as well?

In our experience, it’s often best to have a friend or family member act as MC to create a more personal and meaningful connection throughout the reception. That said, if you’d prefer a professional MC, we’re more than happy to handle all announcements and keep your event running smoothly.

How does the planning process work?

Once booked, you’ll get access to your personal event portal where you can build playlists, plan your timeline, and manage all event details in one place. We will meet multiople times before your event to ensure we are all on the same page to create the exact event you want.

How long do you typically play for?

Each event is customized, but most packages cover everything from ceremony or cocktail hour through to the end of the reception.

How much does it cost to hire DJ DST?

Pricing depends on your event details, location, and services required. Reach out for a custom quote tailored to your event.

How do you keep the dance floor full?

We read the room in real time and adjust the music accordingly. Every crowd is different, so we focus on playing the right songs at the right moments to keep the energy up all night.

How do payments work?

A deposit is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due prior to your event. Full details are provided during booking.

What should we do if we’re not sure what we want yet?

That’s completely normal. We’ll guide you through the process, offer suggestions, and help you build a plan that fits your vision and your event.
